Ways to camp smarter and create a more don’t have to be a struggle.
Check out our best camping hacks:
Silicone drinking cups: Break proof and stronger campsite friendly drinking cups are much easier to wash, transport and drink from. Because they are much tougher than the plastic or paper cups that are common at camping sites you can often reuse these many times over.
Pouch for soap: Folding up a washcloth as a container for soap can help the cloth to double as a lathering item as well. A wash cloth and soap combo prevents soap from getting dirty and you can use any regular bar of soap at your campsite.
Sage near the fire: With the help of bundles of sage around your fire you can really cut down on the number of bugs around the fire area. Just bundling together some dried sage for your fire pit can be a wonderful and all-natural insect repellent. Whenever the bugs start to kick up just throw another bundle into the fire and enjoy a bug free camping experience.
Egg carton fire starter: Instead of buying expensive fire starters is just collect lint from your dryer and place it in paper egg containers. You can seal in the top with some wax if you want them to burn even longer. This is a great way to get rid of waste and easily start fires.
Use frozen bottles of water: Instead of filling your cooler with store bought ice, freeze up some large water bottles of ice. These will last longer and give you lots of drinking water when they melt.
